to provide training on 1) the basics of precision farming (how it works, what's involved, applicability, etc.) and 2) the latest research findings in precision farming in Virginia and North Carolina

farmers, agribusiness personnel

Before Dinner (3 - 5 p.m.) - Precision Farming Overview, including equipment needs, instrumentation involved, etc.

Dinner (5 - 6 p.m.)

After Dinner (6 - 8 p.m.) - Latest Research Findings in Precision Farming in Virginia and North Carolina; Tax Credits for Precision Farming Equipment

Attendance at the workshop will qualify participants for recertification credit for certified nutrient management planners in Virginia. More details will be provided in brochure.
