2006 Virginia BCIA Superior Service Award - Presented to
Jean Eaton

Virginia BCIA is pleased to present the 2006 Superior Service Award to Jean Eaton. Through her dedicated efforts and service, Eaton has contributed significantly to the sustained success of Virginia BCIA.
Eaton has served as office manager for VA BCIA since May, 2000. Her responsibilities include communications with bull consignors, management of BCIA's finances, assembly of test reports, maintenance of BCIA's web site, and bull sale management. Jean's design and implementation of the BCIA web page has led to increased exposure for BCIA and more efficient communication with both bull consignors and prospective buyers. She has played a key role in the sale management of the BCIA bull sales, and is an important member of the Extension Animal Science team and beef cattle educational efforts.
Jean and her husband Lee operate a beef cattle enterprise near Pearisburg and are active members of the cattle industry.
For her time, dedication, and leadership, Virginia BCIA is glad to present
this year's Superior Service Award to Jean Eaton.
