Virginia Performance Tested Ram Lamb Sale

The Virginia Performance Tested Ram Lamb Sale will be held at the Virginia Sheep Evaluation Station in Steeles Tavern, Va., on Saturday, August 22, at 1:00 p.m. The Virginia Sheep Evaluation Station is located at the Shenandoah Valley Agricultural Research and Extension Center. Approximately 30 rams will be sold, including Suffolks, Hampshires, and Dorsets. In addition to being evaluated on a 56-day gain test, all rams will have a complete breeding soundness exam performed on them prior to the sale. The purpose of this sale is to provide a source of high quality rams for commercial and purebred flocks.
