Farm Business Management Update, October 2000
Virginia Census of Agriculture 1997: Tabulations and Analyses by Jim Pease (VCE Bulletin #490-700). This document presents data and analysis from the 1997 Census of Agriculture for Virginia. County, Planning District (PD), and Extension District (ED) data have been compiled from selected census tables to present a statistical picture of Virginia agriculture. The discussion in the main body of the document is organized into sections which, with a few exceptions, each correspond to a particular detailed table in the Appendix listing county, Planning District, and Extension District data. The publication is available on the VCE public website under Farm Business Management and Marketing at http://www.ext.vt.edu/resources/.
