New Farm Business Management Agents Starts in Southwest

Farm Business Management Update, April 2001

February 25, 2001, was Scott Jessee's first day on the job as Extension Agent Farm Business Management. Scott is housed in the Washington County Extension Office and will be providing educational programs in the western part of Southwest District.

Scott's educational background includes BS and MS degrees from Virginia Tech in Crop and Soil Environmental Science. He has received several awards: 2001 Virginia Association of Agricultural Extension Agents Achievement Award; 2000 Epsilon Sigma Phi, Less than Five Years Award; and 2000 USDA Crop and Weather Reporting Program Certificate of Appreciation.
