Jodie Clarke Joins the Farm Business Management Staff in Central District

Farm Business Management Update, June 2001

May 25 was Jodie J. Clarke's first day on the job as Virginia's newest Extension Agent Farm Business Management. Jodie will work in Central District and be housed in the Lunenburg County Extension office. Agents and farmers now will have two farm business management agents in Central District to develop and conduct educational programs.

Jodie has a Bachelor's Degree in Crop and Soil Environmental Sciences from

Virginia Tech and should be finishing her Master's Degree this summer. Jodie has worked closely with Dixie Reaves, Eluned Jones, and Gordon Groover in development and delivery of the Managing for Success Program targeted at Virginia's tobacco growers.

Jodie will be training with Mike Roberts who is housed in the Southeast District Office in Petersburg, Virginia. Jodie's e-mail address is jojohns5@vt.edu.
